T.M.Revolution

T.M.Revolution is the solo project of Takanori Nishikawa. His stage name stands for Takanori Makes Revolution (貴教が革命を起こす, Takanori ga kakumei wo okosu).

Nishikawa's career began as the vocalist of visual-kei band Luis-Mary in the early , before making his solo debut as T.M.Revolution in . The initial goals of the TMR project were to:

  1. Achieve a #1 single on the Oricon Singles Chart
  2. Sell one million copies of an album
  3. Hold a concert at Tokyo dome

By , TMR had fulfilled these three goals, and Nishikawa temporarily sealed T.M.Revolution. Along with then-producer Daisuke Asakura, Nishikawa launched the spin-off project the end of genesis T.M.R.evolution turbo type D, before releasing the seal on TMR in .

He later formed the band abingdon boys school in , while continuing his work as TMR. As of , he has also started releasing music under his birth name Takanori Nishikawa (TNNK).
