July 10th, 2026 I learned yesterday that a certain pop star would be on The First Take tonight. Now, this was a problem for me, because I had a certain song in my drafts. When I'm actively working on a song, I try to avoid looking at other people's translations of the same song so I don't subconsciously sway too close to the same decisions they made. (Don't get me wrong, I love reading other people's translations! I think multiple translations of the same material are a good thing, because there will never be One True and Perfect Translation, and it's interesting to see different approaches. But when I'm trying to solve the puzzle for myself, I have to be careful not to have someone else's words in my head steering me away from other possibilities, if that makes sense.)
So there you go. An arbitrary deadline fell from the sky and force me to put my take on β

I don't even remember why I started this when it's the middle of winter here and I'm working on other things already. It just marched in and demanded a translation on the side, I guess.
I love you, HOT LIMIT, and I think I could give an entire presentation on how you're like, my platonic ideal of a pop song. And you're not even my favourite T.M.Revolution song. Not even close. That's how vast his discography is. You should definitely take this as your sign to listen to more TMR. That's my professional opinion as a "member of T.M.Revolution" (hey Takanori are we still saying that in 2026?)
Curious to see how the English subs turn out on Youtube later today (GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE INVOLVED, I've never done subtitle translation but I'm aware of the challenges). The world could always do with more translations of HOT LIMIT!

This is a little late because I got wiped out by a migraine on the night of the 13th. Fantastic, great move etc. But then I saw the news about the TMR triple revival tour, and I, too, was revived. The thing about Suite Season is, it always comes back again, I know there are probably some important negotiations going on right now (hopefully involving a certain key player... a player of multiple keys, you might say) and that's why we don't have a complete set of tour dates just yet. And don't get me started about him ALSO adding in JT2 and CLOUD NINE. Absolute scenes... might have to do something about my expired passport now πΆ
