Timeline of the TMR-e era
T.M.Revolution releases his fourth album the force on , and plays Tokyo Dome on and . , Takanori Nishikawa announces he will seal T.M.Revolution while he pursues other projects.
the end of genesis T.M.R.evolution turbo type D release their first single, 陽炎 -KAGEROH-, on (close to the summer solstice).
- The single features a Split〜Attention L or Rch! mix of 陽炎 -KAGEROH-, where the vocals and backing track are split across the left and right channels respectively. The same mixing technique would feature later on T.M.Revolution's singles BLACK OR WHITE? version 3 and HEAT CAPACITY.
- The single release was limited to 150,000 copies.
- There were very few TV performances of 陽炎 -KAGEROH- (likely due to both Nishikawa and Asakura's schedules at the time).
From to , Nishikawa performs as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, with Asakura serving as the production's music director. At the same time, the exhibition RESET & NEXT is held in Tokyo, with T.M.Revolution's costumes on display, and clothing designed by Nishikawa available for purchase.
TMR-e releases 月虹 -GEKKOH- on (close to the autumn equinox). The single contains two versions of 月虹 -GEKKOH-:
- the short version, which was used for TV performances and radio play
- the long version, which was only available on the single (and later, the Suite Season album)
TMR-e releases their third and final single, 雪幻 -winter dust-, on - about a month before the winter solstice. It's unclear whether it was intended to coincide with the solstice. It's possible that an earlier release was chosen to coincide with the PREMIERE 1999 tour, which began on . It's also possible that late December was considered an unfavourable time to release a single, and Asakura may have been busy with his Iceman work at the time.
The drama Beautiful Life begins airing on

The LIVE ARENA 2000 A.D. tour begins on , and Nishikawa releases the seal on T.M.Revolution.
