- At the end of the second chorus, the lyric subete wa shinjitsu to tomo ni aru is a reference to a line from Neon Genesis Evangelion. In episode 21, Kaji leaves a message on Misato's answering machine, telling her 「葛城、真実は君とともにある。迷わず進んでくれ。」 ("Katsuragi, shinjitsu wa kimi to tomo ni aru. Mayowazu susundekure.", "Katsuragi, the truth is always with you. Keep moving forward and don't look back"). It was tetsuya's idea to add this to the song. (source 1, source 2)
