- In the second chorus, the phrase boku no koto omoidashi... would usually be translated as "remember me...". However, although 僕 (boku, me) is sung, the kanji for 僕等 (bokura, us) has been used instead, to refer to both members of access 😊
Song commentary from access
Takami: This song is an honest expression of our feelings right now. "SMILE" is also the name of our fanclub. For this song we changed it to "S-MILE", because even if our journey is a long one from here onwards, we want to be able to access everybody. Around the time we finished mixing the album in LA, we decided to make this the final track on the album.
Asakura: This is a song that expresses our feelings towards everyone that's accessed us via our concerts, events, promotions, letters etc. These are the things we've been thinking about lately. It's precisely because we've reached our second album that we're able to do a song like this.
