Song commentary from access
Takami: The intent behind this song was to create a theme song for access. The title is similar to something we always like to say: look ahead and keep on going – don't keep dwelling on the past. The correct way to write that would be “LOOK AHEAD”, but we emphasised the “A”, to encourage everyone to look for access there. Compositionally, I wanted to have dialogue between Japanese and English words, so you’ll find plenty of that in the lyrics.
Asakura: With this song, I wanted to clearly depict the way we both were at the time. While working on it, I suddenly realised I’d programmed the drums to double in tempo after the interlude. The track energised me that much while I was creating it.
